Music

Whether you are an accomplished musician or some-one who sings hymns in the shower, we welcome you to praise God with music. We have a variety of vocal and instrumental ensembles to suit your musical gifts and tastes.  New participants are always welcome! 

Vocal Music

Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir includes young adults to adults who lead the 10:45 a.m. worship with a mix of traditional and contemporary arrangements.   Choir members do not need to be able to read music.  Rehearsals: “Super Saturday” rehearsal one Saturday of each month from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. and Sunday morning rehearsals from 8:30-9:15 a.m. in Abraham Hall .  Director: Jennifer Morris, This email address is being protected from spambots. Rejoice Choir

Our women’s ensemble provide special music at worship. Members should be able to read music and sing in harmony. Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 6:45- 7:45 p.m. in Abraham Hall with an occasional Saturday rehearsal.  Director: Jen Morris  This email address is being protected from spambots. Praise Makers

Our 3rd-6th graders resonate God’s glory with modern praise songs to begin each Sunday morning during the school year at 9:30 in the Sky Room.

G3 Kids-Giving God Glory

Our Sunday school choir is for K through 2nd graders. Handbell Choirs

Mary’s Bells

Mary’s Bells is for our adult and teenage ringers and offers training in all handbell techniques and development of music skills.  When possible this group may participate in outside ringing events.  Rehearsals: Sunday afternoons. Mary’s Bells participates in worship service several times per season (September - May).  Dates are determined in advance and presented to the ensemble to ensure that personnel are available. 

Chimers and Joyful Ringers

Chimers is for our youngest ringers—1st grade and up. Joyful Ringers is for older youth-3rd grade and up.  We teach music reading skills, basic rhythms and beginning handbell techniques through games, exercises and use of chimes, which are lighter than bells. Rehearsal times to be announced.

Soloists, Duets and Small Groups
