Music

Whether you are an accomplished musician or some-one who sings hymns in the shower, we welcome you to praise God with music. We have a variety of vocal and instrumental ensembles to suit your musical gifts and tastes.  New participants are always welcome!

Vocal Music

Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir (7th grade–adults) leads the 10:45 worship with a mix of traditional and contemporary arrangements. The choir also performs a seasonal cantata at either Easter or Christmas.

Choir members do not need to be able to read music. Rehearsals are on Sunday mornings from 8:30-9:15 in Abraham Hall, plus a "Super Saturday" rehearsal one Saturday of each month from 9:00-11:00 a.m.  Director: Jen Morris, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Rejoice Choir

Our women’s ensemble provide special music at worship. Members should be able to read music and sing in harmony. Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 6:45- 7:45 p.m. in Abraham Hall with an occasional Saturday rehearsal.  Director: Jen Morris This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Resonators

Our 3rd-6th graders resonate God’s glory with modern praise songs. No experience needed… just a desire to sing and praise God. Happy Hearts

Our Sunday school choir is for Pre-K through 2nd graders. Happy hearts rehearse on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in the Desert Room downstairs and are then taken to their Sunday School class.  Directors: Jen Morris, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Mary’s Bells

Mary’s Bells is organized for our adult ringers and more advanced teen ringers. We have great fun as we grow the quality of our music. Music reading skills are helpful. Chimers

Chimers is for our youngest ringers—1st grade and up. We teach music reading skills, basic rhythms and beginning handbell techniques through games, exercises and use of chimes, which are lighter than bells.
