Dan retired in 2006 from the City of Ravenna as the Superintendent of the waste water treatment plant. He and his wife, Jan, reside in Stow. Dan has been employed at the church since 2008 as custodian, and recently took over the directorship of building and grounds.
Dan enjoys being involved in church life, and has committed his life to Christ with the promise of keeping the church in good order. He is always willing to help.
Director of Children's Ministry - Monica Albright -

Monica has been involved at Stow Presbyterian Church since 2001. She has taught Sunday school, Vacation Bible School and is currently directing the Resonators Youth Choir for 2nd through 8th graders. She has a master’s degree in early childhood education and studied music, voice performance. She works for Stow-Munroe Falls City School District as a substitute teacher. Monica lives in Stow with her husband Jerry and her two daughters. She enjoys reading, baking, crafting, chocolate and coffee.
Director of Christian Resources - Joyce Kight -

Joyce has served in our Church Library since becoming a member in 1994. She served as librarian at her previous church after moving and reopening their library. She has also helped to establish other church and church school libraries. Joyce served on the executive board of the Northeaster Ohio Chapter of the Church and Synagogue Library Association (CSLA) and on the national board of CSLA. She continues to be involved locally through teaching and hosting meetings. Membership in CSLA, the National Church Library Association, and the Evangelical Church Library Association helps to keep our library current on information and procedures.
Joyce and her husband Kenneth married in August 1962 and have two sons, two daughters, and two grandchildren. Joyce has also enjoyed teaching youth, leading women's Bible study, volunteering for Falls Christian Women's Fellowship, and sewing. Her current pasttime is genealogy research.
Director of Creative Arts - Kristin Spicer
Kristin has been an active member of SPC since 1999. She and her high school sweetheart, Ken, have been married for 16 years and live in Stow with their two boys. Kristin currently enjoys being involved in the Rejoice and Chancel choirs, helping with the church’s yearly women’s retreat, teaching JAM, and being the Director of the Ministry of Creative Arts. She has been a volunteer in children’s discipleship, the Ministry of Connectivity, and the Ministry of Music. She has a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Akron and is currently an ‘on the go’ mom. She spends lots of time volunteering for school activities, community service organizations, and is the #1 fan for her boys at their sporting events and extra-curricular activities.
Director of Finance - Ray Bovaird
Ray Bovaird is currently the Director of Finance and has been actively involved at Stow Presbyterian Church in a variety of ways since 1996 after moving back to Ohio with his wife Lorie (Lorie has been a part of the SPC family for 44 years). Ray is an elder and has served on Session for two terms. He joined the finance team in 1996 and has been leading the Finance Ministry since 1999.
Ray graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering and has an MBA from the University of Washington. He is married to Lorie and they have two children who keep them very busy with all their school/sports/music activities. Ray also teaches karate, does a little trail running, coaches his kids’ baseball teams and enjoys any type of fitness activity.
Director of Music - Handbells - Sherri Stoffer
Sherri is a graduate of Kent State University and Ithaca College and has been ringing and directing handbells for over 30 years. She developed the church handbell program shortly after joining in 1995. She has also been involved in the drama and vocal music ministries with her husband, Mark, and currently serves as an Elder on the church Session.
Sherri is a member and guest conductor in the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers. She also serves as Artistic/Music Director for Stow Heritage Ringers, a community handbell ensemble.
Director of Music - Vocal Music - Jennifer Morris
Jennifer directs the Chancel choir and Women's Rejoice choir at Stow Presbyterian Church. She keeps incredibly busy as a music teacher, choir director and theater teacher at Seton Catholic School in Hudson, Ohio. She studied music education at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Jennifer is originally from Butler, Pennsylvania but now resides in Hudson with her husband Keith and their two sons.
Director of Technical Services - Roger Owens -

Roger was the principle designer and installer of the sound and projection systems in three churches (including ours). His professional background includes employment as a software engineer, software consultant, electronics technician, home TV and Hi-Fi sales and serviceman, and six years in the Navy aboard a nuclear submarine as a torpedo fire control technician.
Roger and his wife, Marcia, retired and relocatied to Ohio in 2006 to be closer to their grandsons (and their daughter and son-in-law) after living for over 30 years in New England. Roger enjoys spending time with his family, and he absolutely loves being called "Grandpa." Other loves include scenic drives in his roadster and sitting back with a really good cup of coffee.
